While 8K has become the mainstream high-quality standard for flat screens, spherical curved surfaces bring unique geometric challenges: viewing distances and pixel density shift across different dome areas, which never occurs on flat displays. To deliver uniform crispness across the whole curved surface, dome screens require far stricter technical standards.
